In the spring of 2014, I received my teaching degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts. I love working with kids and being in the classroom is one of my favorite places. I am currently working as a ESL parapro in a local district.
I have a dog. He is a corgi and his name is Rocky Trails. I may make a post about him sometime, but for now here is his picture. He has been one of the best things in our lives right now and we couldn't have asked for a kinder and gentler friend.
I love crafting, writing, listening to music, drawing, watching too many television shows and movies, and other odds and ends.
My doll story:
It was Christmas morning in 2001 and I could not have been more excited. My brother had just been born the year before (Yes he was born on Christmas and it was his first birthday!) and my mom was up early with him. I remember looking underneath the Christmas tree and finding something I have waited and wanted for years an American Girl doll!
I wanted one for years, and it was quite the gift for my almost twelve year old self. I received an American Girl Today doll (that is what they were called at the time), a mini Molly doll, Coconut, and the accessories from the outfit the doll came with. Her long blonde hair, blue eyes, and light skin tone matches what I looked liked when I was younger. I believe, after some research, she is the Just Like You Doll #3.
