Back from the Doll Hospital

As many of you know, my doll was in a desperate need for a trip to the doll hospital!  Welp, I finally did it!

I shipped her off on March 11th, and she arrived at the Doll Hospital on March 14th.  I waited and waited and waited, then finally on April 8th, I received an email telling me that my doll was admitted.  I was so excited to finally hear from them.  I also received another email telling me that the hospital set was backordered, which to be honest all I wanted was my doll.

On April 13th, after I came home from work, there was a large box sitting on the couch.  I was so happy to see that large box!  I opened the box and found my doll as good as new!  She was wearing the Pretty Pink Robe (I'll explain later), with socks, and she had the Certificate of Good Health and Get Well Soon card.  I also got another surprise, they said the reason her limbs were so loose was because of a defect in the doll, so it was a complimentary fix.

I am so happy to have my doll back.  She definitely has more stuffing in her than before and her limbs are tight and can be lifted now.  I don't think she has ever been in that good of condition.  And the reason the hospital set is backordered is because they didn't have any regular gowns, but they said they will ship them mid-May when the order comes in.

I am so happy to have her back and looking great again.  If you have any questions about my experience, just leave a question in the comments and I will do my best to answer.

Ebay Fun Find #2!

I went searching through Ebay and found this fun find!  I was watching a few YouTube videos and saw someone else with this.  I wanted it and found it!  I thought it was a lucky find considering it is retired and I couldn't find many like it.  The one I found still had the tag on it too.

This is an old varsity jacket that was sold only at the American Girl places.  I have been to the Chicago one, so I liked this one.

It says the American Girl Place Chicago on both sides.

Inside the jacket has a quilted fabric to keep your doll warm.  It's adorable and I'm glad I picked it up.

This shirt was on sale with the jacket, so I was happy got it.  I already owned a red one, so I firgued a black shirt would be great.  It also still had the tag.

Valentine Gift Set from American Girl

This was in a recent sale and I really wanted it.  I adore the quote the on it.  Anything that has to do with music I am in.

The gift set comes in an red envelope.

The shirt is pink with silver writing on it.  It has a small American Girl tag sewn in the front too.  The sleeves are quite short too.

The back is all pink and has velcro to put it on the doll.

Softball Set from American Girl

I have had my eye on this set for quite a while a now and with a recent sale, I bought it.  I used to play softball when I was younger, so I thought it would be the perfect addition to my doll's collection.

The softball outfit is teal and purple.  The shirt velcros in the back and there is elastic on the shorts.

The cleats are purple with pink colored laces.

It is hard to tell in the picture, but on the bottom of the cleats there are studs just like real ones.

The helmet is one of my favorite parts.  It's pink and has padding inside.

There is a large white star on the right side of the helmet, along with the American Girl signature on the back.

The softball and bat are my other favorite part.  The doll can hold the bat too.  The grip is black, and the bat is pink and white.  The ball feels like a small softball, and it's the yellowish-green color with orange laces like the real ones I used to play with.

It also comes with purple socks.

And two pink colored hair ties, with ribbons of them.

I can't wait to try this outfit on my doll when she comes back from the doll hospital.

New Patterns!

I was very excited when I found these two patterns.  I have been looking for the first one for over a year now.  And I found it at Walmart of all places.

I really wanted to make Rapunzel and Merida's dresses.  I own the other Disney Princess pattern, so I wanted this one.

And this one and I almost screamed when I found.  I love Doctor Who and anything to do with the franchise makes my heart happy.  So I am hoping to make the TARDIS dress, if I find the right blue fabric that is.  I'm picky with my TARDIS blue color.
